Nature's lessons: No aim is too high

It is enough to look around and pay attention to nature’s subtle yet clear messages all around us. There is no goal too high when we dare to try.

I love spring. There is so much to be present with, amazed by, and truly enchanted with. The scents in the air invite us to breathe a little deeper. The colours and vibrancy of fresh new flowers call us to be right where we are — awake to the present moment, admiring the many earthly yet heavenly gifts before us.
The warm days encourage us to spend more time outdoors, where the sun charges us with its life-giving power. If an entire house can run on solar energy, imagine what it can do for us!
I often smile when I spot this brave dandelion on my walks. It’s not easy to notice at first, growing in such an uncommon place, but wow! what a powerful lesson in aiming high and dreaming big.
It shows us not to limit ourselves based on old conditioning. It literally reminds us that we can become something far greater than the view we currently hold of ourselves.
We spend so much time building an identity, becoming who we think we are, that we can start to believe this is it. “I’m good at this. I’ve worked hard for it, so I might as well stay as I am.” After all, that feels reasonable and sensible, doesn’t it?
But what about all the potential in you that is yet to be explored?
You might think you know yourself well… but how well have you truly met your SELF?
Can you imagine the conversation between "Dandy" and her parents? How they would have thought her crazy for believing she could thrive so far above the ground? Saying “Why can’t you just be like the rest of us? Living a ‘normal’ life where it’s safer, more certain?”
Yet deep down, this little plant knows she was meant for heights that are out of the ordinary — and she refuses to settle for anything less.
My heart nods every time someone shares their dreams with me, no matter how far-out they sound. Because why not? If life-force is running through you, why not explore what’s possible?
Like these sprouts breaking through tarmac. Their will must have definitely be stronger than that of crashed stone combined with tar, otherwise how on earth something so supple as a sprout make it through these layers? If they had shared their intentions with a “reasonable” mind, they would have been told: “You cannot possibly do that. It’s not realistic, or at the very least, very unlikely.”

In human language we might hear — from a professional or from our own mind — “You won’t be able to live without pain or medication… walk, move, dance, succeed, or start again.”
To that voice, you can say: “I will show you otherwise.” Not from ego, but from a deep desire to live fully, with purpose. Sometimes our greatest challenges are there precisely to reveal what we are truly capable of. If things were easier, the lessons wouldn’t be as deep or transformational.
This is your sign that your dreams are never too high. Your Highest Self, the formless awareness and presence within you knows no limitations.
May these images and words be tattooed on your heart whenever you doubt your power, dear friends.
With love and inspiration,
Amor Armitage
