About The Event
It takes courage to slow down and do nothing. What awaits for us in that empty space? What nourishment might be gained from doing a little less? What worlds do we awaken when invite simplicity into our experience?
This is a workshop to explore our relationship to rest, coming together as a collective to gently hold each other in that space between, the sacred pause, a journey into remembering who we are when we’re not doing
This workshop will include:
Pranayama that helps to open mind & heart for self enquiry
A gentle yoga practice to awaken pranic awareness and draw attention inwards
Guided relaxation into healing sounds
Bhakti Yoga ~ Kirtan
This is an immersive experience, available to all levels with no prior experience necessary. Our intention together is to bring about an experience of deep nourishment and rest for mind, body and soul.
Regulate the nervous system, remind the body that it’s safe to rest and through a network of interwoven practice support release all holding of tension and stress.
Things to note:
- Wear comfortable, light, breathable clothing with the option for layers if you tend to get cold
- Bring props to further support the body; pillows from bed, blankets, eye pillows (everything that allows you to feel comfortable, cocooned and held. The more the merrier.)
- Bring something to write with and a journal/ something to write on ~ self enquiry/ contemplation is where the fruits of practice can really begin to come to life!
