Learn, understand and embody the fundamental methods that allow us to reclaim tranquility and rest back into the innate part of ourselves that is inherently at peace. It’s the invitation to start cultivating a much more intimate relationship with your practice (and ultimately with yourself) so that you can step off the mat and into your life, with a courageously open heart, ready for its constant change, more than capable to meet the challenges ahead. Yoga makes big promises, and it can often feel a little frustrating when those promises always seem just slightly out of reach. Join Chrissie for this experiential workshop where we’ll dive into some of the most effective tools that assist us in that vital journey back towards a mind that is steady & calm. What this workshop includes: Embodied Theory - 1hr (rather than simply listening we will put the theory into practice, so that you can connect in your own way to what the teachings offer) * Leveraging the breath * The function of poses * Bandhas Complete Practice to bring it all together - 1h * Asana, Pranayama & Meditation
Q&A We’ll finish with some light chanting/ Kirtan and release into the final softening via the power of Nidra. This closing part of the workshop speaks to the vast spectrum of Yoga, and is a gentle nod to the understanding that whilst the goal may inevitably be the same, there are many means/ practices to which we can get there - we simply choose the one/s that serve our own unique & individual calling best.
