About The Event

Autumn brings cooler, drier, windier days. In Ayurveda, these are the same qualities as Vata, the energy of movement, made of air and space. When Vata increases (both around us and inside us), we can feel it as dry skin or joints, restlessness, scattered thoughts, irregular digestion, poorer sleep, or a sense of being ungrounded.

When Vata is balanced, it feels creative, light, and flexible. But busyness and overthinking can easily tip it out of balance.

This gathering is an invitation to pause. Help Vata settle back down to earth through simple Ayurvedic practices that nourish body and mind: soothing self massage, soft movement and grounding practices that lead to a restful, embodied experience.

  • Gentle movements to clear space and release physical, mental and emotional tension
