About The Event
Come and learn a nourishing Qigong practice that can easily fit into your daily life! Through gentle movement, breath and meditative forms that support your body, mind and emotions.
Qigong uses Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and theory that support well being; this workshop is designed to support nervous system balance, physical ease and embodied awareness. The practices are suitable for all and involve a progressive unfolding - combining breath, movement, as well as standing meditation.
We will explore the connection between the organs, emotions, and the Chinese 5 elements where each practice will target specific organ systems, emotions, and meridian channels through basics Qigong forms as well as the 8 Silk brocades.
This event is designed for complete beginners and for practitioners with some experience who would like to be guided and practice in a welcoming group setting.
