About The Event

Living with unprocessed trauma effects so many areas of our lives, but most importantly it seeps into our trust, our connection and our right viewing of other. When we have been neurologically patterned to see the world from a certain Trauma lens, it can make it nearly impossible to feel safe in the world, and this makes it incredibly difficult to feel safe in relationship to others. Even more so, many of us that live with trauma, may feel incredibly unsafe and dissociated in our own bodies. Meaning that we may have a difficult time accessing our true needs, boundaries and desires.

In this 3 hour mini workshop, we will cover subjects around attachment theory, nervous system regulation, intimacy and relating to others, how to create spaciousness in relationships, and how to create healthy boundaries around yours needs, fears and requests.

"Traumatized people chronically feel unsafe inside their bodies: The past is alive in the form of gnawing interior discomfort. Their bodies are constantly bombarded by visceral warning signs, and, in an attempt to control these processes, they often become expert at ignoring their gut feelings and in numbing awareness of what is played out inside. They learn to hide from their selves.”
