This Workshop is suitable for regular yoga practitioners who already feel steady in basic arm balancing postures and inversions and would like to find more confidence in them along with different expressions that stem from basic foundations such as crow, side crow, headstand and tripod headstand.
During the workshop, we will begin with different preparatory poses and drills to stabilise for the parts of the body so that the body gets familiarised with the activation of muscles and joints safely during the practice. We will be paying especial attention to core engagement, hip openers and to the alignment that makes arm balances possible.
Once the body is familiarised with the shape of each one of the arm balances and inversions to be practiced, we will explore the vast range of possibilities that stem from a particular base of support.
You can expect lots of hip work which will benefit your practice and flexibility greatly! We will explore foundational arm balances in a funky ways so that no matter what level you are in, you can spice up your practice.
Inversions and arm balances are the best ways to test your inner trust, overcome fear and remind yourself that life is not as serious as our mind makes it out to be ! So, this will also be a great time for practicing meeting challenge with acceptance, understanding and resilience.
Note: Expect to learn and surprise yourself, but do not expect to be able to do everything on this one day, like everything in life, some things take time and patience, you will indeed learn lots about your body and how to use it to transcend self-limiting beliefs ♥

NOTE: This workshop is for regular comfortable practitioners of yoga who are already familiar with vinyasa transitions or have an active lifestyle which involves strength training of some kind.
