Yoga is not only practiced on the mat, you can also take yoga into your kitchen by applying one of the principles within the 1st limb of yoga (Check the Yamas on the eight limbs of yoga) called Ahimsa which translates as non-harming, non-violence or compassion.

The recipes I'm sharing are recipes that I have created or collected during my travels around the world. Some of the recipes were passed on to me from dear friends from Italy, Fiji, Australia, England, America, and family from Chile, and I've made my  own modifications to make them compassionate integrating Ahimsa =)

I hope you enjoy making and eating them as much as I and my family do

Love, peace and ahimsa <3

When I was in Mexico during my yin yoga training, I prepared a simple pasta sauce and got really nice compliments on it. A few days ago, one of my American friends who tried it, wrote me asking for the recipe. It's one of my mum's classics and even though I make this often, I had never considered adding this recipe to my blog before as I thought everyone can make a pasta sauce, but maybe not quite like this one ;-)...
